How often to take hcg on trt?

Hi,
This is a question from my gym buddy who is starting TRT.
Last week we were discussing HCG and he said his doc mentioned HCG during TRT and here I got confused.
Why HCG during TRT? HCG is used to prevent testicles shrinkage, to stimulate sperm production and stimulate HPTA axis...so how can it help if a person is on TRT which means his testosterone comes from outside and no matter how much HCG you take your body wont produce testosterone.
Can it help with sperm productions in case the person on TRT wants to have kids?

Some doc will prescribe HCG while others not.
HCG helps to mantain fertility, testicular size and cognitive functions.
Consult your doc on this.

Let me clarify that HCG dosage for TRT better not be decided by you but by your doctor. Some times TRT is for life and sometimes it is temporary and in both situations protocols are different.

After you last injection you can start to use hcg on the next day, It is generally safe to inject 2,500 IU per dosage twice per week, as advised. You may use hcg about 3 weeks ... and to be an great ptc I suggest to use clomid after hcg .. dosage? It depends on the person, everyone is sensitive to anti-estrogens in their own way. For same peaple 25mg eod is a wrock doage, for others 150mg eod.
If you want to have children it would be better not to follow any cycle
